Season 5 Launches with NC Poet Laureate Jaki Shelton Green

Charlotte, NC (January 7, 2019) – Charlotte Readers Podcast, a regionally recognized podcast for the reading and writing community, is proud to announce the release of its fifth season. Podcast host, Landis Wade, kicks off Season 5 with North Carolina Poet Laureate, Jaki Shelton Green, who reads and discusses her award-winning poetry. 60-minute episodes with an assortment of local and regional authors will be released every Tuesday.

“I love the variety that the authors bring to the show in Season 5,” Wade says on what listeners can expect from the new season, “with their poetry, thrillers, memoir, long and short fiction, essay, and non-fiction, everything from poets who write about love and loss to authors who write about teen idols, characters on hero journeys and lessons learned from the Wizard of Oz.”
