Additional Listening Option With Short Friday Episodes

Charlotte, NC (January 10, 2019) – Charlotte Readers Podcast, a regionally recognized podcast for the reading and writing community, is excited to announce the release of a Friday 20-minute series called Under the Covers. This shorter version of the show was created by podcast host, Landis Wade, because, as he says, “there are too many talented local and regional authors and not enough time to include them all in the Tuesday 60-minute podcast.”

“Many people love the long-form show but getting Under the Covers for only 20 minutes could appeal to the listener on the go,” Wade adds, on why he decided to launch a shorter version of the podcast.

Under the Covers episodes are designed to be conversational and energetic in their shorter form. Each episode will feature a book and its author, along with a reading and discussion on the author’s writing process. In addition to providing the opportunity to add more authors to the podcast lineup, the series will give listeners with limited time another option to get their weekly dose of local literature.

Under the Covers episodes will be available for download every Friday through popular listening platforms such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, TuneIn, Stitcher, iHeart Radio and more. The first installment of the new series, featuring author Fabi Preslar, was released this morning.
