May 1 Jan Notzon “The Id Paradox”
“The Id Paradox,” is the story of three friends, Jake, Artie and Connors whose bond was forged during an almost fatal canoe trip in which only Artie’s genius for survival kept them alive. It follows their ill-fated attempt to pass Artie’s family across the border, his capture by a drug cartel and Jake and Connors’s harrowing rescue attempt from a Mexican prison and then from the prison of madness.
May 8 Rachael Brooks “Beads”
“Beads: A Memoir About Falling Apart and Putting Yourself Back Together Again” is a true life story of a rape survivor. Through both her writing and speaking engagements, Rachael’s goal is to raise awareness and provide support for survivors and victims of assault, as well as generally offer tips and best practices for making it to the other side of trauma.

May 29 Caleb Johnson “Treeborne”
This novel, set in a small Southern town, was an honorable mention for the Southern Book Prize and longlisted for The Crook’s Corner Book Prize. It’s an exploration of how the past gets mixed up in thoughts of the future and of how home is a story as much as a place.
June 5 John Gerdy “Alphabone Orchestra”
“Alphabone Orchestra” is a creative and wildly illustrated book designed to help children get excited about music while offering adults some tidbits of music education with “Grace Notes” sprinkled throughout.
June 12. Betsy Mack “Mid-Reach”
This is a work of non-fiction written with early career professionals in mind that is meant inspire, empower, and celebrate failing while in the midst of success. It highlights the importance of fostering relationships, owning mistakes, and celebrating successes (even the small ones).
June 19. Tracie Barton-Barrett “Buried Deep in Our Hearts”

June 26. Nicole Ayers “Love Notes to My Body” Collection

Writing Your Way to (Self-)Love is a guided journal experience for people who feel called to write their own love notes to their bodies.
