About the Author

Betsy Mack describes herself as “average” in the first chapter of Mid-Reach, but her career path has been filled with much above-average success. She is the Executive Director of the Charlotte Hornets Foundation, with experience in public relations, community development, fundraising, and marketing. Previously, Betsy was responsible for leading an IT company’s national expansion, focusing on increasing the company’s national footprint and she worked for a world-renowned nonprofit, with the sole responsibility of fundraising for over $15 million annually.

Betsy is passionate about community service and is involved in numerous philanthropic efforts through board roles. Originally from the Quad Cities, she holds a bachelor of science degree in public relations with a minor in sports marketing from Illinois State University. Mid-Reach is her first book.

Betsy was a good sport. While sheltering in place in late March, we recorded through the Internet on Squadcast.
