Roland Beckerman’s “Seeking Justice” Is One Patient’s Journey Through the Medical Malpractice Legal World

In this episode 283, we visit with Roland Beckerman, author of “Seeking Justice,” a fictional story based on the author’s real life experience.

This story involves a medical journey regarding a serious illness that led to a medical procedure and then a lawsuit about that procedure that ended up in a trial. The book guides the reader through the physical and mental challenges resulting from the patient’s surgery and the ups and downs of his attempt to challenge the doctor in court.

Roy Wiggins, a North Carolina judge, says this about the book: “I was glued to the story after the first paragraph. I was truly inspired by Mr. Beckerman’s perseverance through overwhelming physical, emotional and legal hurdles.”

About the Author:

Roland J. Beckerman describes himself as a “Southern Man” who grew up learning right from wrong in a healthy family environment, saying he had many successes in most of the things he attempted to do as a young man, and as he continued to age, he says he became versed on many subjects and excelled in most of his endeavors. His experiences led him to put this book together about the truths as he saw them in a fight for his life after undergoing difficult medical procedures.

Roland says, “many of us have had triumphs and fall from grace within our realm of reality. Some of us don’t get up from the low points.” He counts himself among the resilient who continue to reinvent themselves.

Praise for the book:

“I thoroughly enjoyed reading SEEKING JUSTICE. I was glued to this story after the first paragraph! Interesting and true account of Mr. Beckerman’s journey in our judicial system shows the enormous challenges that people face when seeking true justice. I was truly inspired by Mr. Beckerman’s perseverance through overwhelming physical, emotional and legal hurdles.”

-Roy Wiggins, North Carolina Judge
