Episode 359 – October 3

In this episode, we feature Book 8 in The Write Quotes series, Publishing and Book Marketing, where we explore how authors really feel about the publishing business and marketing their books. We also dive into a discussion of traditional versus indie publishing and book marketing. And we have eight elevator pitches.

Episode 360 – October 10

In this episode, we feature Scott Gould, author of The Hammerhead Chronicles, winner of multiple awards, including the 2023 Eric Hoffer Award. Set in a small Southern Town, The Eric Hoffer Award says the book’s effect is kaleidoscopic, drawing “us ever closer to grief, loss, and the ways we get each other wrong–transmuting instead into the gold of family, friendship, and community.”

Episode 361 – October 17

In this episode, we feature Stephen Eoannou, author of Yesteryear. Ashley Warlick, author of The Arrangement says, “Yesteryear is a magical, magnificent novel strung on the threads of a real man’s quest to fight evil, save the day, and lift the world from the clutches of The Great Depression. There’s no way to read this book and not find yourself moved to tears. I absolutely loved it.”

Episode 362 – October 24

In this episode, we feature Michael Thomas Ford, author of Every Star That Falls. Phil Stamper, national bestselling author of The Gravity and Us, says, “Every Star That Falls is a moving story about boldly—and proudly—becoming your true self. We’ve waited fifteen long years for this sequel to Suicide Notes, and it was so worth the wait!”

Episode 363 – October 31

In this episode, we feature Carissa Orlando, author of The September House, a wonderfully creepy novel about a haunted house –  just what we were on the hunt for, for our Halloween episode! Rachel Harrison, national bestselling author of Such Sharp Teeth calls the book “a rich and wholly satisfying haunted house novel about dark family secrets and patterns of destruction.”
