Tracy discusses her journey from being “pregnant at 40” to a blog called “Stork Raving Mad” to a regular weekly humor column for The Charlotte Observer and explains that it all got started with a spoof of American Idol. In addition to sharing her process and tips for writing a form of humor she calls misdirection, Tracy reads her humor essay about a Congressman who stole the Pope’s water glass. It encompasses many of the techniques from her bag of tricks.
