Cathy Pickens’ Southern Fried won the coveted St. Martin’s Malice Domestic Award for Best Traditional Mystery. In addition to five novels, she’s written Charleston Mysteries and a series of Carolinas true crime collections for History Press, along with a regular column for Mystery Readers Journal, articles on writing craft, and CREATE! DEVELOPING YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS(2020). She served as national president of Sisters in Crime, on the Mystery Writers of America national board, and as a long-time professor in the McColl School of Business at Queens.

Landis Wade is a recovering trial lawyer, host of Charlotte Readers Podcast (where he has conducted more than 275 author interviews), and author of books and stories whose third book—The Christmas Redemption—won the Holiday category of the 12th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards, and was the 2018 Holiday category Honorable Mention in the 10th Annual Readers’ Favorite Awards.
