Thank you for submitting to the Charlotte Readers Podcast Community Blog.
We hope this will be an enjoyable experience for you and that in addition to providing engaging content for our reading and writing community you will be able to make connections with other readers and writers.
Ground Rules and Guidelines
The ground rules are simple, but it is important that you adhere to them so that we can manage the process of considering and posting your submission:
- Use a catchy title.
- No more than 750 words.
- Consider using subheadings to aid the reader or incorporate lists within the post to create white space and add emphasis.
- No political, disparaging, defamatory or obscene content is permitted.
- This must be your own work and you must have the right to publish it.
- The post should be a contribution to the reading and writing community, not vainglorious self-promotion; however, it is fine to mention your work briefly if the purpose is to illustrate a point or share craft tips or writing life experiences related to the work.
Terms
By submitting your post, you agree to the following terms:

- You retain the right to publish your post elsewhere.
- You shall not be compensated for the post or reimbursed for any costs related to the post.
- The Podcast has the right to reject all or any portion of the post and use its reasonable judgment to edit the post.
- You agree to sign-up for the Podcast newsletter email list here (if you haven’t already), and agree that the Podcast may add your name to the Podcast newsletter email list.
