We also meet authors Judy Goldman, Elizabeth Richardson and Alexis Carreiro, who like Jim and Laurie, read their dog stories and talk about the dogs they loved. Host Landis Wade also reads a short piece about Gus, his rescue dog who is more like the hero than the rescue.
